Winchester Crime of the Week – February 13, 2012

 

Location:       600 block of National Ave

Date of Crime:  January 7, 2012

Type of Crime: attempted larceny from a vehicle

In the early morning hours of January 7th, the victim noticed 2 males in his vehicle.  Both suspects were described as white males with light hair, in their late teens or early 20’s.  One was wearing a sweatshirt and the other was wearing a dark jacket, ball cap and a back pack with a reflective stripe.

Frederick County Crime of the Week - February 6,2012

 

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and grand larceny from the 200 block of Little River Drive between January 3rd and 4th, 2012.  The victim reported that unknown suspect(s) entered her residence and removed a 32” flat screen, TV, several rings, a digital camera, and a small amount of U. S. Currency.

Winchester Crime of the Week  - January 30, 2012

 

 Location:       900 block of Kinzel Dr

Date of Crime:  December 27, 2011

Type of Crime: Larceny

During the afternoon hours someone entered the home, rummaged through drawers, and took a black 26” flat screen TV.  There are tire marks in the grass leading up to the back door.

Frederick County Crime of the Week - January 23, 2012

 

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and grand larceny from 6814 Northwestern Pike on December 5, 2011.  It was reported that unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence and removed several pieces of jewelry from a jewelry box, as well as some silver coins, along with the container.

Winchester Crime of the Week - January 16, 2012

 

Location:       400 block of Fairview Ave

Date of Crime:  December 10, 2011

Type of Crime: Larceny

The resident chained a red MTD brand snow blower to his fence and later that day it was gone. The suspect had to have cut the chain to take it.  The snow blower was valued at $400.

Frederick County Crime of the Week - January 9, 2012

 

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary occurred on November 11, 2011 at the 2200 block of  Cedar Grove Road.  Unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the victim’s residence and, although it appeared several items in several areas had been disturbed, no items were reported missing by the homeowner.

Winchester Crime of the Week - January 2, 2012

 

Location:       300 block of Tevis St

Date of Crime:  December 22, 2011

Type of Crime: Larceny

The victim advised that he was expecting a package to be delivered on this date and when it didn’t show up, he reviewed his surveillance video for the front of his residence.  Video showed the package was delivered at 15:58 and a male taking the package from the porch at 17:20.  The suspect was described as a white male, 5’10”, 220 lbs, had close cropped hair, wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans.  He was driving a white quad cab truck with silver freezers in the truck bed.
